Company Overview

Kaye Instruments (Kaye), a subsidiary of Amphenol, has been a global leader in high-accuracy process measurement for more than 60 years. From thermal process validation and environmental monitoring to sensor calibration, Kaye has built a reputation for precision and reliability in life sciences and other mission-critical industries. For decades, Kaye has delivered on-premises environmental monitoring systems, but with customer needs shifting and competitors moving toward cloud-based models, Kaye set out to reimagine its solution for the future.

Customer Success / Quote

Kaye Instruments had built a 60-year reputation for precision environmental monitoring in life sciencesβ€”but its on-premises systems were increasingly out of step with where the market was heading. Competitors were moving to cloud-based models, customers expected mobile-enabled access and FDA-compliant reporting, and Kaye needed to reimagine its solution without disrupting its existing validated customer base.

“FacilityConneX gave us the platform and cloud expertise to bring LabWatch IoT to market in under six monthsβ€”delivering a modern, FDA-compliant solution our customers could migrate to seamlessly, without sacrificing the precision and reliability Kaye is known for.”

Powered by FacilityConneX and built on AWS, LabWatch IoT launched as a white-labeled, cloud-based environmental monitoring solution in under six monthsβ€”delivering a highly reliable edge-to-cloud architecture, mobile-enabled monitoring, and FDA-compliant (GxP) reporting with integrated electronic signatures. Existing customers were able to migrate seamlessly, preserving their validated workflows while gaining the benefits of a modern, scalable platform.

LabWatch IoT is now installed in more than 50 validated plants worldwideβ€”establishing Kaye Instruments as a cloud-forward leader in life sciences environmental monitoring, with a reduced hardware and software footprint and a platform built to scale alongside its global customer base.
